We are a large church made up of small groups. We understand that growing one's faith requires the support, attention, and nurturing that only small groups are able to provide. So, we offer short-term and long-term classes to help you to connect with others as you walk together on your faith journey.

If you have a suggestion for a small group that you do not see listed, or if you would like help connecting with a small group or class, please contact Carolyn McGee, Spiritual Life Coordinator.

Our Adult Ministries are designed to prepare, challenge, and inspire women and men to a life of Christian discipleship. Our Sunday School classes, as well as information on our ministries that are focused on Women & Men can all be found in this section. If you have a question or a suggestion about our Adult Ministries, please contact Carolyn McGee, Spiritual Life Coordinator.

First UMC will be hosting a band from Philadelphia, "Homestead Collective" Sunday April 22nd, starting at 5:00pm. Homestead Collective is a fun band that writes with memorable melodies and intricate instrumentation combined with honest lyrics. There will be food, music, kid-friendly games and crafts! The bounce house will also make an appearance! Make your favorite dish and bring the whole family to our spring fling to fill your stomachs and your hearts! We'll be outside in the parking lot!

Contact Alex Erwine, Director of Discipleship for Youth & Children, for more information!

We have an active Young Adult Ministry that includes a weekly small group, an inter-denominational meet-up group, and we also offer many opportunities for service and outreach.  You can find most of our young adults on Sunday mornings in the 9:45 Contemporary service although there are many who also appreciate and frequent our other services as well. If you have any questions or a suggestions about our Young Adult Ministry, please contact Meredith Rose, Young Adult Coordinator.

First United Methodist Church recognizes how important the middle and high school years are - they are a time of challenge, change, and wonder as youth investigate who they are in the Lord. First UMC Youth Group helps teens on that journey of self-discovery and our youth are vibrant and vital members of the church community.

At First UMC, we strive to provide programs where children experience God's love in action and find guidance in sharing God's Word with others. Our goal is to provide a loving and accepting environment.
