Answering the question, " To whom do we belong?" is a fundamentally spiritual statement about who and whose we are. Christians answer this question by placing themselves in relationship to God and Neighbor within the context of the Church (Body of Christ). At First United Methodist Church, we are open to all those who are nudged by God to belong to a community of faith so that we all can grow in our knowledge and love of God as well as our knowledge and love of each other. Theologically, church membership is not a conclusion or a destination - it is a conversation, a journey, and a covenant.

We invite you join us in conversation and come with us on the journey of faith by belonging to the First United Methodist Church family.  If you are interested in belonging to FUMC, you are invited to gather around the table at one of our Wednesday night "Chat & Chews" where the pastors will share about what it means to BELONG to the United Methodist Church. Please know that you can come to more than one session to meet other congregants and our evenings will begin with a Vespers Service in the Chapel.
