We have an active Young Adult Ministry that includes a weekly small group, an inter-denominational meet-up group, and we also offer many opportunities for service and outreach.  You can find most of our young adults on Sunday mornings in the 9:45 Contemporary service although there are many who also appreciate and frequent our other services as well. If you have any questions or a suggestions about our Young Adult Ministry, please contact Meredith Rose, Young Adult Coordinator.

On May 27, 2017, the Young Adults at First United Methodist Church adopted the following welcoming statement for their small group:

The Young Adult Small Group of Charlottesville First United Methodist Church welcomes and celebrates people of every gender identity, sexual orientation, race, culture, age, ability, and economic status. We love Jesus, we love brunch, and we love you. Whether you’re a Bible trivia champion or just got lost in traffic and ended up here, you are welcome. We recognize that there are differences among us, but believe that we can love alike even if we don’t think alike. We invite everyone to join us in our faith journey toward greater love, understanding, and mutual respect.
