With so many changes to our daily routines and schedules it can overwhelming trying to keep track of what has been canceled, postponed, rescheduled, or moved to an online meeting. It is our hope that we will keep this space regularly updated with important church announcements and information about meetings, rehearsals, or other ministry events that are taking place at First UMC over the next few weeks. Please email announcments@cvillefirstumc.org if you have any new information, additions, or corrections to this page.

Over the course of this pandemic, our Sunday morning worship services were redesigned to be as accessible and viewer friendly as possible.
While the accessibility aspect of our online worship experience is not changing, the pastors, in anticipation of re-opening the sanctuary for in-person worship sometime later in the year as the threat of infection is reduced, would like to invite you to join us in a new livestreamed worship experience that will begin on Sunday, February 21st at 10:00am.
At 10:00am on Sunday mornings we invite you to join us on Zoom as we get back into the habit of meeting together for worship as the gathered Body of Christ. The information on how to join us on Zoom will be shared in our weekly worship emails (that go out on Saturday night) but can also be accessed here: click for the latest worship email.
In preparation for this move to a livestreamed worship experience on Zoom, please click here to review these short helpful videos about how to join us on Zoom and use all of the Zoom features.
If you’d rather not join us on zoom but would still like to view the worship service, or if you’re unable to be online at 10am on Sunday mornings, each and every worship service will be livestreamed on our YouTube Channel and then added/stored on our worship playlist.
